How does the QUILS™ System Work?

Complete the QUILS™ survey to receive your initial QUILS™ score, identifying your key areas of strength and opportunities to improve.

2. Provide Feedback

Collaborating closely with your team, we will develop a tailored improvement plan specifically designed to enhance the overall quality of your program.

3. Access Resources

Access our tailored training, resources and to address areas of opportunity and connect with our and a community of your peers so you all improve together.

4. Receive Consultation

The QUILS™ Group is available to provide one-on-one or small group guidance to help you implement your priority areas for improvement and navigate potential challenges you may encounter in the process.

5. Improve Quality

We’ll work with you to continually re-assess and improve your program until you’ve surpassed your quality goals. Complete the QUILS™ survey again to receive your updated QUILS™ score, identifying improved quality, continued areas of strength and potential areas for future improvement.

Our team is already stretched thin! I'm not sure that we can dedicate the time to implement the QUILS™ System in our program?

We totally get this! One of the benefits of implementing the QUILS™ system is that you have a way to assess your current lung cancer screening program and then prioritize areas for improvement. Without this assessment, you can get stuck trying to do it all – and even recreating the wheel. The QUILS™ system helps you focus your work so that you can work on the right things – not necessarily all the things.

How can we know that the QUILS™ System will definitely help us improve the quality of our program?

In our experience, the programs who are committed to actively and intentionally implementing the QUILS™ system are also the programs that improve quality. While you can improve quality on your own, the benefit of the QUILS™ system is that we provide an assessment, feedback and resources tailored to your program’s areas for improvement. We are committed to helping you achieve improved quality and health outcomes for your community.

I have a large/small/no staff. Will this work for my program?

Yes! The QUILS™ system has been implemented diverse programs and settings (urban, rural, large teams, small teams) and can be used to support you right where you are today. The assessment will identify areas for growth and you get to choose what is realistic for you to focus on first. If your program grows (or shrinks), you can use the QUILS™ system to support your focus on quality in your current context.

I'm new to lung cancer screening programs. Will this program help me?

Absolutely! One of the benefits of the QUILS™ system is that it can be tailored to support those programs are just beginning. We will work with you to guide you toward resources that will support you as a new lung cancer screening program and can help you be more efficient and effective by not having to develop everything on your own.

I've been working in the realm of lung cancer screening programs for years. Will this be too basic for me?

No! The QUILS™ system can support both new programs as well as those programs who have been doing lung cancer screening for a while. If you have already been implementing lung cancer screening, your areas for quality improvement will be different than those who are just beginning. The QUILS™ system will assess your current context and provide tailored support to enhance your work and focus on areas for continued growth.

What's the cost of joining the QUILS™ System?

The cost of the QUILS™ system varies depending upon the level of support provided by the QUILS™ group. There are different options based on the interests and readiness of each lung cancer screening program.
